English Bluebells

Caution: Harmful if eaten. Bluebells in the green should be planted in april at the earliest opportunity following delivery. Choose a position in dappled shade in reliably moist, well drained soil. Bluebells prefer a soil rich in organic matter so add some well rotted manure or compost to the soil. Carefully separate the individual bulbs and space them randomly throughout the planting area at a distance of 10cm apart. Plant them as close to their original soil depth as possible or at a depth of 10cm (4″). Water regularly until bulbs are fully established.

When growing bluebells, it is essential to allow their foliage to die back naturally. Avoid mowing areas of grass where Bluebells are naturalised until they have completely died back.
