Rhodanthemums are a unique compact plant with daisy-like flowers that bloom upon wiry stems above silvery-green foliage. As its name suggests ‘Pretty in pink’ bears truly gorgeous pink blooms which will brighten your borders from April to June. Pot up plants in a loam based compost in full light, grow them on in warm frost free conditions. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise Rhodanthemum plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days. Plant them out in well drained soil in sunny borders.

Feed and water regularly. Apply a deep mulch in late autumn to protect the crowns of the plants over winter. Leave flowered stems intact until spring as these will also offer some protection from frost.
